Where are you originally from? 
I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada.


Why did you want to become a civil engineer?
I wanted to become a civil engineer because of the versatility. You can design airports, roads, utilities, buildings or stay in the field and do construction management. There's so much to learn that you'll never be bored!

How did you find out about ASCE? How has it affected your career?
I wanted to be more involved in the events that YFM puts on. It's been great I've loved getting to know everyone on the board, it's made me feel more connected to the industry.
